Modern Kitchen Extension & Structural Remodel
Project Overview
This project involved the removal of two load-bearing walls and the installation of complex structural steel (RSJs) to create a completely open-plan environment.
The extension was designed to complement the original sandstone character of the Morningside villa while introducing contemporary elements like bespoke aluminium glazing and a zinc-finished roof.
We managed the entire process from the structural engineering and building warrant application through to the final decorative finishes.
