The Process
-
Get in touch
Firstly, send an email to us and we’ll book you in for a site survey. During this process we’ll review your drawings, plans and any Pinterest boards you may have. We’ll review the feasibility and can highlight any areas that may require cost engineering.
-
Site Survey
This is where one of the surveyors will come and review the work that is to be done. Get to know more about one another to make sure that the partnership works for us both. Take all relevant photos and information to provide a detailed bill of quantities and quotation
-
The quote
We think it’s best to quote for absolutely everything on the wish-list and then work back the way towards affordability. This prevents any surprises throughout the construction phase and gives you a true overview of all the associated costs. We ask to meet with you again to review the quotation in person and show you where cost savings can be made and give you any advice, tips and help.
-
The decision
All quotes are valid for fourteen days and may need to be reviewed given the continual price increases from suppliers. Once the quote has been accepted we firm up any figures and enter into a Contract. This shows the duties that each party has to abide by and protects us both so that you have a completed project to a high standard of quality with little time of inactively and we are assured that we will be paid.
-
Contract
When the contract is agreed, we attach all the relevant files and documents together for E-signing. It’s from this point we can give you a firm an allocated date for starting as we operate on a first come for serve basis. Along with the documentation you will be provide a copy over our insurance and a gantt chart showing the schedule of works. It’s from this point we will complete our procurement and order any long leadtime items
-
Building
We will walk through the project at the start with you and then it’s handed over to us to start and successfully deliver the project. It’s important that all decisions of choices are made a minimum of four weeks before that stage is due to start and any changes to the contract are clearly highlighted.
